Day 9
Our first harvests: sweet basil and parsley. It's also my first oopsie, in terms of taking a daily photo of the garden.

Day 6
I have finally been able to list down the plants we are attempting to grow in our very first garden. The list is in the right column under 'The Veggies'.
The first couple of days after planting our veggies, all seemed as they should have been. The plants looked green and healthy. By the third day, which was Monday, I noticed that the parsley leaves were so dried that when I picked them off its branches, they crumbled like how ancient parchment paper would probably have fallen apart if disturbed.
Yipes. What have we gotten ourselves into? Do we have a green thumb? I guess we will all have to wait and see. It looks like the first fruit of our labor will be the Bush pickle in about 48 days (3 July 2012).
